Our sleepers are New Softwood Green Tanalised (pressure treated) 200mm x 100mm x 2.4m. They come from UK sawmills using sustainably sourced timber that is specifically grown for use as construction grade timber and they have full FSC certification.
Although they start their life as green sleepers, they will fade naturally to first a honey brown colour and eventually end up silver/grey. This can be stopped by either restaining or repainting your sleepers regularly. These versatile sleepers are ideal for raised bedding and a range of garden applications.
