Our Basalt Chippings are easy to use and can be delivered by George Davies precisely where you need them. For the best results, we recommend a depth of 30-40mm of Basalt Chippings for complete coverage and stability.
If you have adequate transport to carry your order of Basalt Chipping, you can, of course, collect it from our St Albans or Olney depot. Our team at both sites will be more than happy to assist you.
Alternatively, when ordering your Basalt Chipping, you can select a suitable delivery date, and our friendly drivers will bring your order directly to your site. If access allows, we can even use our Manitou forklifts to place your ballast precisely where you need it.
Each delivery is made on rigid trucks mounted with forklifts, allowing us to place your products exactly (within reason) where they suit you. Long, narrow tracks and placing bags around the back of your home along with gravel driveways are not a problem. We just ask for a 9ft-by-9ft access to enable the forklifts to get through with ease.
