A Fascia Board refers to the board of wood or other material that sits around the edge of your deck, steps or garden structures. They tend to be used alongside wooden or composite decking material to provide a professional finish. The primary purpose of fascias is to hide fixings, joists, and subframes to enhance the overall look.
Like Millboard's composite decking, their fascia boards are produced using the same high-quality materials, modern engineering techniques, and hand-crafting colouring. The core consists of natural minerals bonded in a flexible polymer resin. The long fibre reinforcement provides a sturdy structure, while the Lastane coating offers a smooth surface which is stain, colour-fading, and weather-resistant for long-lasting results.
A Millboard fascia board is fairly low maintenance. However, due to the nature of where they're placed, the boards are exposed to everyday knocks, dirt build-up, and general wear and tear. The smooth surface requires a simple wipe-down with soapy water using a brush or sponge. Follow the grain of the facias, wiping from top to bottom and towards the edges of the fascias to allow dirt and grime to wash away.
We supply Millboard fascias in 11 colours, matching the various shades for your Enhanced Grain, Weathered Oak or Lasta-Grip decking. Your fascia colourways include Smoked Oak, Driftwood, Burnt Wood, Embered, Jarrah, Golden Oak, Vintage Oak, Limed Oak, Antique Oak, Coppered Oak, and Brushed Basalt.
Individual wooden fascia boards measure 146mm x 3200mm x 16mm. They're extremely lightweight, making them easy to handle and manoeuvre. They can also be easily cut to shape and size to fit your decking, steps, flowerbed, or garden structure.
