Our first-class gravel has been screened to provide a 10mm – 20mm range of garden aggregate. These small, coarse stones offer a beautiful mix of brown, grey and white colours, which provide adequate landscaping solutions, ground coverage, draining support, and decorative detailing to domestic and commercial landscaping projects.
10mm – 20mm gravel is a slightly crushed angular aggregate, creating a fine but versatile landscaping material. With their mix of natural colours: grey, white, and brown, their smaller size makes them ideal for various gardening tasks, including bedding flowerbeds, ground coverage, walkways and pathways or decorative detailing.
This smaller-sized gravel aggregate can be used for driveways. The small stones tend to fall beneath the bigger ones. This means there’s less chance of them getting stuck in the tracks of your tyres. If you’re unsure, opt for our 20mm – 40mm gravel product to provide a larger, compact surface.
If areas of your garden struggle with drainage, gravel can provide a successful solution. Gravel is available in multiple stone sizes, so it’s important to pick the right size to suit your drainage needs. Due to gravel’s coarse texture, it holds its structure and creates gaps for water to flow through easily, stopping water from pooling and encouraging it to soak down into the earth.
We are proud to announce that George Davies is a leading supplier of premium landscaping materials. From turf, topsoil, and bark to stone products, sleepers, and Millboard composite decking, we supply and deliver everything a landscaper needs to complete their project.
Each delivery is made on rigid trucks mounted with forklifts, allowing us to place your products exactly (within reason) where they suit you. Long, narrow tracks and placing bags around the back of your home along with gravel driveways are not a problem. We just ask for a 9ft-by-9ft access to enable the forklifts to get through with ease.
Here at George Davies Turf, we want to make life as easy as we can for you; our website boasts a three-day lead time; however, if you need it sooner, please give us a call, as we normally work on a two-day turnaround.
Our skilled drivers are highly trained and cool under pressure. If you have any limitations at all, please tell us ahead of time at the point of order or add notes to your online order. Trust us when we say our drivers truly make difficult deliveries easy.
