We are immensely proud to have made it through to the finals in a local awards programme for our ‘exceptional customer service’.

George Davies Turf is up against four other local businesses for ‘Best Customer Service’ in the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards 2022 (MKBAA) and the winners are set to be announced at a prestigious ceremony on 23^rd March 2023.

As part of the application process, we evidenced the ways we deliver personalised aftercare, fast delivery times, tailored order tracking, and innovative new technology which allows us to monitor purchasing and feedback.

We also had to showcase how we measure customer satisfaction, deal with complaints, and how customer service relates to our overall commercial performance – all incredibly important aspects of our approach.

George Davies, founder and managing director said: “Our industry-leading customer service is what we are known for. It underpins everything we do as a business, from our systems and processes to staff training and products.

Some of our processes may be small, but their impact is huge – such as taking the correct contact details at the point of sale so we can keep customers informed of delivery times. This gives people the personal, trustworthy service they want.

The overall theme for this year’s MKBAA is ‘Celebrating Diversity’ and all finalists will also had to demonstrate how they focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.

George added: “The turf and gardening industry has been male dominated for many years, but we proactively challenge this stereotype by making our company inclusive for people from all backgrounds. We are a diverse, ambitious, forward-thinking business and we stand out in our sector for this very reason.”

The MKBAA ceremony will take place on 23^rd March 2023.
