Our Trident Turf is a hardwearing, cultivated turf, grown on free draining sandy soil that roots quickly. The Trident turf is a Rye/ Fescue mix, which delivers a great quality versatile lawn at a competitive price. This turf is perfect for domestic lawns, golf club renovations, new build properties and recreational areas.
The turf is cut at a depth of around 15 - 20mm and each roll measures 1m2
If you are wondering why we don’t sell a very fine totally fescue based turf, the answer is that the higher the percentage of Fescue you have, the higher the disease pressure will be. It also needs scarifying on a regular basis and doesn’t keep its colour very well during the winter months. So in general it requires a lot more maintenance than our conventional Trident Turf.
