Want to change your garden year after year with minimal maintenance? Wildflower turf creating a meadow lawn could be the answer for you.
Biodiversity is the buzzword and as landscapers and garden owners are becoming increasingly environmentally aware wildflower turf has become one of our most popular products. We have built relationships with several suppliers to source the very best wildflower turf to be delivered direct to your door. As well as being a stunning splash of colour to add to your garden, wildflower turf is a pollinator’s dream and will be a firm favourite with the birds and the bees in your garden too.
Since the 1930s, the UK has lost nearly 97% of our wild flower meadows. There is no doubt that wild flower Turf creates a beautiful looking eco-friendly habitat for wildlife, including bees, butterflies, birds and small mammals; offering a rich nectar source, it is ideal for small areas in your garden or for building miniature meadows.
Our easy-to-grow rolls or slabs contain 27 different perennial and annual seeds that will flower throughout the summer. Growing from seed can be challenging for even the most green-fingered gardeners, but wildflower turf offers an instant answer to give you the meadow turf area that you desire, and it will keep coming back year after year and never in the same way twice.
Maintaining a wildflower lawn is easy, needing one or two cuts a year; the only thing you need to remember is that you need to remove the cuttings from the site as this will promote and encourage better growth for the following season.
We can supply wild flower turf 100% plastic-free; we have varieties that do not use any polypropylene or plastic membrane.
Please call us for your requirements as we can offer different species mixes.

It depends on the local conditions in which the turf is grown. Normally, it needs just one cut in the autumn once it has finished flowering. Sometimes, if the soil is particularly fertile, you will need to do an intermediate cut, too. This is often called the Chelsea Cut and is usually done at the end of April or early May.
Yes. It’s important to remove the organic matter as it promotes good airflow, allows the wildflower turf to breathe and encourages new growth in the next season.
It is harvested in slabs of 0.8m x 1.2m, although each slab is slightly under 1m², we sell it in full m² and will send just over your required amount to the nearest full slab. For example, if you order 30m², we will send 32 slabs, making it 30.72m².
