We’re finalists for top national business award

George Davies Turf were announced as finalists for a top national business award at the BizX Forum and Awards Business Excellence 2023.

The BizX Awards are among the most prestigious in the country, which meant we were up against hundreds of businesses UK-wide for ‘Best Service Based Business’ and ‘Best Customer Service’.

Being announced as finalists for ‘Best Customer Service’ is no easy feat, but the judges recognised and praised our bespoke and personalised processes and how they are continually monitored to make sure we give exceptional customer service.

Our owner and managing director, George Davies, said: “We haven’t really entered many awards in the past as we’ve been too busy focusing on our customers and service, but 2023 is about shining a light on our amazing team and how they go above and beyond to keep people happy. To get to finalist stage in such a reputable national awards programme has given us all a huge boost and we have a benchmark for where we want to get to. Next year we will aim to win.”

The BizX Awards were organised by ActionCOACH UK and hosted by former Olympic gymnast Gabby Logan. Other guest speakers included Sir Ranaulph Fiennes, Lord Sebastian Coe and Mary Portas.
