For easy cladding installation and a professional finish, Millboard’s Horizontal Trim Starters are an essential part of your kit. Designed to be used with horizontally fixed cladding, these robust aluminium starter trims are used along the bottom of your cladding for a straight and secure fit. This product is to be fixed with perforated closures and 20mm fixings.

You can fit Millboard's composite cladding both vertically and horizontally depending on your preference and landscaping design. Start by attaching your Horizontal Starter Trims to the side of your subframe using the Durafix screws provided. Starting from the bottom, place your first Millboard cladding against the trim and fix it into place. Follow suit with the remaining cladding boards.
We supply Millboard's 25 x 13 x 2500mm Horizontal Starter Trims, all fixed with the perforated closure and 20mm fixings. Constructed from tough aluminium, this trim provides a sturdy cladding trim that is also lightweight and easy to handle.
With all of Millboard's products and accessories, we recommend using their Durafix screws to securely and correctly fit your cladding. Their starter trims and cladding boards all come with pre-drilled holes for accuracy and perfectly fit their Durafix screw range. The screws themselves are made from sturdy stainless steel, built to last all weather conditions for long-lasting results.
