Porcelain paving is fast becoming the go-to choice for homeowners and professional landscapers alike. But why? It often comes down to porcelain's structural properties and its gorgeous appearance!
As a non-porous surface, porcelain resists moss, algae and moisture, while the textured finish provides excellent slip resistance, even in wet conditions. It’s also frost-resistant and easy to clean, making it a highly versatile landscaping material, and a popular option for patios, paths and much more.
High-quality products are only half the story at George Davies; expert delivery and after-care are just as important. From your very first enquiry to the moment your Abbey Dune Porcelain arrives, every single customer is looked after by our friendly team.
We proudly service Olney, Bedford, St. Albans and the surrounding areas. Operating from our depots in Olney and St. Albans, we can offer prompt, efficient delivery for homeowners and professional landscapers alike.
Each delivery of our Abbey Dune Porcelain is safely stacked onto rigid trucks equipped with forklifts. With the use of What3Words, we can place your porcelain slabs exactly where you need them (within reason).
Long, narrow tracks and gravel driveways are not a problem! Where possible, we can place stone products, turf pallets, and product bulk bags around the back of your property. All we ask is for 9 ft x 9 ft clear access so the forklifts can get through safely.
Our skilled drivers are highly trained, calm under pressure, and expert problem-solvers when it comes to difficult deliveries. If you have restricted areas, tight entrances, or specific requirements, please tell us when ordering and add notes to your online order.
Trust us when we say: our drivers truly make difficult deliveries easy!

Most of George Davies’ outdoor porcelain, including Abbey Dune, is manufactured with a textured, slip-resistant surface. This helps keep it safe underfoot when wet or dry, making it suitable for pathways, patios, and areas around water features.
The great advantage of porcelain is its low maintenance. In most cases, a regular sweeping and occasionally washing with water and a mild detergent will do the job.
Nope. Unlike natural sandstone, porcelain paving is non-porous and does not require sealing. This reduces installation time, maintenance, and long-term costs, making it a great investment.
We recommend leaving your porcelain slabs for 24 hours before using them. This allows them sufficient time to settle in place, and for the mortar, primer, and grout to fully dry.
Nope! If you have a specific location in mind for us to leave your order, let us know in your order notes. You can use What3Words or even leave out a tarpaulin, wheelbarrow, or bin, etc, with a note saying ‘Please leave here.’
